These are one of the few Atkins bars that Im not crazy about. However they did grow on me. I usually had my bar with a hot beverage.

Filling Low Carb Snack Bar - Recommended (2010-01-14)
The Atkins Sweet & Salty Almond Crunch Bars are a good tasting, diabetic friendly low carb snack choice. They are fairly dry, not very sweet, and some might find them a bit too salty. They do make me very thirsty so I make sure not eat these without having a diet soda in hand. These are also surprisingly filling, which is a very good thing in a snack bar!

These bars have 180 Calories (120 from fat), 220mg of salt (a whooping 9% of your daily allotment), 7g of protein, and 4g of Net Carbs (15g Total - 5g Fiber - 6g Sugar Alcohol). It is worth noting that Maltitol (which can cause "gastric distress" in some people) is used as one of the sweeteners.

Eat one for lunch for a delicious meal. Great for losing weight or maintaining.

A sweet treat (2009-12-13)
There's a big difference in sweetness, size and texture to the same Atkins bars I was used to in Australia.
These are twice as sweet, so it feels like I'm cheating. It appears much larger too, because it's light and airy like a rice-cake, whereas the ones I'm used to were a more chewy, dense consistency. I'm a piggy when it comes to quantity, but I could only eat half of the first few bars.
It's best to eat just a quarter of this bar to satisfy a sweet-craving.
Otherwise, not bad. I'd order them again. Delivery was fast and well packaged.

I've ordered this product via amazon several times now and the last 3 times or so they've tasted great (they don't taste the way they quite used to anymore but in a good way)

Great Snack for a Low Carb Diet (2009-11-18)
Although this bar does not taste as good as bars with Carbs, it is the best I have tasted that still fits into my low carb diet. I have lost over 25 pounds and have maintained my weight for over 5 years. I keep one of these bars at work, just to keep me going, when I get hungry for a snack, and all those snacks in the lunch room look tempting. I am not saying this bar tastes terrific, but combined with its low carb status, I think it is a great product.

OMG These are Amazing! (2010-02-20)
I've tried a number of low carb bars both Atkins and others and these are on the top of my list. A lot of the others have a sort of gummy nougat center, but these are like little chocolate cookies and caramel wrapped in dark chocolate. You could never tell these are sugarless and low carb. I forgot how much I missed the taste and consistency of cookies until I tried these. Simply awesome! A real treat.

A little steep but quite good. (2010-02-16)
These bars are a great to have in the pantry for "craving emergencies" or as a meal substitute if you're on the go. With 5 grams of fiber per bar, they're quite filling. They taste really good for what they are, especially if you've been doing the Atkin's diet and you haven't had anything sweet in a while. They're 3 net carbs per serving, too, so they won't ruin your day carb-wise; even if you're in the induction phase of your diet. My only qualm is they average two bucks a bar, which can add up pretty fast.
